Internet Industry PartnershipsLast Updated: January 4, 2002Each node in the network represents a company that competes in the Internet industry. Two companies are connected by a link if they have announced a strategic alliance, joint venture or other partnership. This interactive map shows a subset of the whole industry -- 222 companies. Three companies emerge as the central hubs of the industry -- Microsoft, AOL-TimeWarner, and IBM. They are anchored on the screen and appear in Red. All nodes on the screen can be moved using click-and-drag with the mouse. Click on a node using the right mouse button[ctrl-click for Macintosh] to show and hide individual nodes and groups of nodes. Make sure the 'Hide Unlinked Nodes' checkbox is clicked when showing and hiding nodes. Home | Software | Training | Consulting | Case Studies | Blog | Contact |
